Shibori silk ribbon - Pink Clover / 10 cm

Original, exclusive shibori silk ribbon. Silk satin dyed and pleated by hand by this technique's master - Glennis Dolce from Shibori Girl Studios.

These beautiful ribbons are 4" (pleated to ~ 1") bias cut 100% silk satin ribbon, with a semi-permanent pleating (you may alter the texture with steam of your iron or completely flatten it by ironing on the silk setting). Each piece may have an unique colorway and each roll of the same color ribbon may vary. Colors on the ribbon blend in a magical way, creating colorful stories...

Shibori ribbons have durable colors, but due to the manual pleating, are sensitive to moisture.

Price per 10 cm of lenght, multiply will be sent in one continuous section.

Please note that ribbons are made using silk fabric strips which are joined to form a continuous piece. The strips are sewn together before dyeing and the resulting seams are made in a delicate manner and the right (top) side of the ribbon is almost invisible. Due to the length of the ribbon's roll the seam is unavoidable and is not the basis for the complaint. However we will do our best to avoid sending you a 10 cm piece containing the seam, as we can imagine that it might be hard to use that small piece when it has a seam. Therefore, if you order longer pieces they may have a seam.
