Original 4 mm Greek soutache braid. Soutache braid is produced in Greece. This soutache is different from the Czech and Chinese braids size - Greek ones are slightly wider (see photo) and thicker.
Greek cotton soutache (raw cotton) is made of natural cotton. The fibers from which Greek cotton braid is made are not colored, they have a natural color, the darker dots are visible on the braid.
The fiber covers the core evenly and densely, it doesn't extend when folding. The core is in a color similar to the braid, it is made of viscose. Greek soutache braid has the right and left sides. Greek soutache, all kinds of braids, are plastic, easy to forming. Due to the size of the braid, we recommend it rather for bigger forms. However, small earrings sewn from the Greek soutache are also possible to made. Greek cotton soutache has a rustic character.
It is not necessary to protect the place of cutting of the braid from spontaneous unraveling.
